Izumi-con was loads of fun, even with the trail of death that lead to and back from it. I even got the chance to slightly tear into Sven. Fun stuff. Niou-chan certainly seemed amused. :D She did a way better job of summarizing the weekend than I could ever do, so if you're interested in hearing about anything, just ask a question of something. It's not hard, and I have to type less. XD For now, though, I'll post a bunch of pictures. ^_^
DAY ONE:
I love this shot of Niou-chan (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) alle_goriest). Very adorable. ^^
Personally, I thought this picture came out looking very interesting. It's very pretty, considering Niou-chan turned away when I was taking it. :D

I wish I'd taken a video instead of a picture. :( The effect of Niou-chan petting the wig is lost in this.

Niou-chan actually managed to take a decent picture of me. It's incredibly blurry, actually, but I still really like it. :D

DAY TWO:
She takes such awesome pictures. Also, her wig was amazing, although I'm very surprised it didn't fall off at any point during the day, even though I used a horrendous amount of bobby pins to hold it in place. :D;;
I would be the one with the bright orange hair. :(
Her facial expressions never cease to make me smile. XD
Niou-chan looks like a little angel sitting under that tree. It's cute. ^^

I absolutely adore this outfit. It was a pain to make, alter, and detail, but, to date, it's definitely one of my favorites. :3
DAY THREE:
This would be me on day three, waiting on breakfast at Denny's. >.>; Breakfast sucked, but the company was worth it. :3

I think Vic felt his ego was a bit too small due to the fact that Crispin Freeman is our convention's main voice actor, but still... Crispo! ♥ Vic Mignogna, I adore you. :D
I'll take pictures of all the stuff I bought (looooots of D.Gray-man stuff and a giant X/1999 puzzle) at the convention at a later date. My picture spammage stops here for now. :3
On a completely unrelated note, I got my schedule for the spring semester done on Monday. This is what it looks like so far:
Freshman Comp II (M W F 11:00)
Computers in Modern Society (M W F 1:00)
Life-Span and Development (M W 2:00)
Seminar: Anime (T TH 9:30)
Personal Health (T TH 11:00)
College Algebra (T TH 12:30)
All in all, I'm enrolled in eighteen hours of classes for next semester, but I am excited about most of them. I gave up Japanese II just so I could take my second freshman comp class with my current professor because he's so awesome. Even though that's the case, I still have the book to study from, and my friend Ai is going to be in the same class as me, so we should be able to help each other out. :D Computers... meh. I know how to do all the stuff, so the class should be easy enough; I'm already quite capable of dealing with Microsoft Office programs which is pretty much all it's over. :/ Life-Span... I'm taking it because my psychology instructor teaches it. She told me two weeks into class that I would probably like it, so... here I am, taking it. ^^; SEMINAR: ANIME. LOVE. I am so excited about this class. ^______^ Personal Health... eh, it's required at some point, so I might as well take it and be done with it. I have the same view on college algebra. :D;
Fuuuun stuff. I'm looking forward to next semester. ^_^
Also, as I have seemingly made it my quest to drag people into watching/reading D.Gray-man with me, go do so if you haven't yet. It's really good. :O

Guh.
Be jealous. :D I was like, "a;dljfa;ldj;foajdfj;ladf WAAAAAANT" when I saw it listed. Technically it's a 4000 level class, but... after talking with the department it's in, I was given the approval to go ahead and take it. ^^

I'm looking forward to the next convention I attend, be it A-kon or Tokyo in Tulsa. You definitely have to cosplay at TnT! It'll be really fun. :D
Am planning ahead!! Yesness for me-ness!! I will most likely incorporate your help here. Though I am a stickler for detail, I am also a procrastinator to the third degree. Keep me fired up and kicked in the pants and I will most likely need help with constructing of the costumies!!!! Yeaness!!! | |
